I am nowhere near anyone’s definition of a ‘gamer girl,’ but I was possessed to buy the game ‘Thank goodness you’re here’ by Coal Supper. I watched one review that showcased the game and simply adored the animation and the charming goal of the game. You play as an employee in what I can only guess is a marketing company, and you are assigned to assist a small town with various tasks.

To truly experience what makes this game so good, you must play with sound. The game looks cute and bubbles, but it can get pretty raunchy in various degrees. They have the one and only Matt Berry. He’s an invented voice actor, but his talent doesn’t overshadow the others. I am so glad that the game makers were about to assemble grade-A voice actors that could execute a fantastic script. As you play, the goal becomes secondary to listening to the side stories that help sell the town.

I haven’t spent a Sunday playing a wacky game in years, but it was a time well spent. I will be checking out more Coal Supper games for future Sundays.
